What to expect when working with Designerbloom

A calm, supportive, step-by-step process – designed to make branding and website creation feel easy, spacious, and stress-free.

Every project is different, but the experience is always the same: clear communication, gentle guidance, and thoughtful design at every stage.

Getting started

You’ve seen my work, it resonates with you, and you're curious to see what we can create together – thank you.

Before we begin, you’ll be asked to review my terms and conditions. Once you’re happy, I’ll gather the details I need for your project.

Depending on what you’re booking – branding, a website, or design support – I’ll send you a short questionnaire so I can understand your goals, your business, and the feeling you want your brand to convey.

For one-off design pieces (price lists, banners, packaging, signage etc.), I’ll simply ask for the relevant information so I can create a design that feels aligned with you and appeals to your ideal clients.

When everything is clear, you’ll receive:
✔ A quote (if needed)
✔ A project outline
✔ An estimated start date

To secure your place in my schedule, a 50% deposit is required. Most projects begin within 4 weeks, depending on current bookings.

Your research & preparation

To ensure your project flows smoothly, it’s helpful for you to have a basic understanding of your business direction:

Who your ideal clients are
What motivates them
How you want your brand to feel
Where you see your business in the coming years

For Branding & Website Projects:

You’ll be asked to share a Pinterest board or a small collection of images that reflect the style you’re drawn to. This helps me understand your personality and aesthetic preferences so I can design something that is genuinely you.

Your brand is about you, not me — and I tailor everything to your values and vision.

After reviewing your preferences, I’ll also look at what appeals to your ideal clients. If something doesn’t align, I’ll gently suggest refinements that maintain your style while still supporting the success of your business.

Designing your project

Once the project begins, I’ll start with concept development. Most projects include 1–3 initial concepts, sent as PDF proofs.

For Logos & Branding:

You’ll receive a Research + Direction document outlining the visual direction before any logo creation begins. This gives us a shared foundation and ensures we are heading in the right direction.

For Websites:

I begin with a PDF-proof of your homepage design. Once that’s approved, I build out the site and provide access to a development link so you can watch the progress and offer feedback along the way.

Throughout this stage, everything is collaborative, calm, and clearly communicated.

Finalising & delivering your project

When revisions are complete and you’re happy with the final result, the remaining 50% balance is due.

After payment is received, you’ll receive your final files via email / WeTransfer / Google Drive.

If you need printing, I can organise this – printing costs are paid upfront before files are sent to the printer.

For websites, once everything is approved, I’ll take care of bringing your new site Live.

Timeline

When your deposit is paid, your project is officially booked.
Most projects begin within 4 weeks, depending on my schedule.

From your start date:
• Branding, design and smaller projects: 2–3 weeks
• Websites: 3–5 weeks
• Timelines may shift depending on revisions and how quickly feedback is returned

You can help speed things up by ensuring:
✔ Text supplied is final and edited
✔ Images are high-resolution
✔ Feedback arrives within the requested timeframe
