Turn your AI or Canva Logo into Professional Print-Ready Files
You created the idea – I'll turn it into the professional files your printer, signwriter and embroiderer need
Made your Logo using AI?
You're not alone
More and more New Zealand businesses are creating their first logo using ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva and other AI tools. It's a fantastic way to explore ideas and get your business off the ground quickly.
But then comes the next step…
Your printer asks for an EPS file
Your signwriter wants a vector logo
Your logo goes blurry when enlarged
Or your embroidery company says they can't use your file
Suddenly, you're speaking a completely different language.
The good news? You haven't done anything wrong.
In fact, you've already done the hardest part – you've created a logo concept you love. Now you simply need a designer to rebuild it properly.
Why AI and Canva Logos don't work for printing
Most AI-generated logos and Canva logos are created as image files, not professional vector artwork.
This causes a few common problems:
Your logo becomes blurry when enlarged
Perfect for Instagram. Not so perfect for a shop sign or vehicle wrap.Printers need vector files
Many printers require EPS, AI or SVG files, which AI tools don't provide.Colours don't print correctly
The colours you see on your screen often differ from what comes out of the printer.Your logo won't work everywhere
Embroidery, signage, uniforms and promotional products all need specific file formats.

Optional add-on:
If you’d like your logo rebuilt to meet trademark standards, I offer this as an optional add‑on. See FAQs below for more information.
Do I lose my original logo design when you rebuild it?
Not at all. I rebuild and refine your logo while keeping the look, style, and personality you already love.
Can you recreate my logo if I only have a screenshot?
Yes. I can usually recreate your logo from a screenshot, PNG, JPG, or almost any image file.
How long does a professional logo rebuild take?
Most logo rebuilds are completed within 2–5 working days.
Will my printer accept the logo files you provide?
Yes. You’ll receive industry‑standard file formats suitable for printing, signage, embroidery, and digital use.
Can ChatGPT create a true vector logo?
No. ChatGPT and most AI image generators create image files, not real vector artwork. A designer needs to rebuild the logo professionally in Adobe Illustrator.
Can Canva create a professional vector logo?
Canva Pro can export SVG (vector) files, but depending on how the logo was created, they may not be suitable for professional printing or signage. I can assess your logo and create professional files that work everywhere.
Can I Trademark my AI logo?
No. AI‑generated logo files cannot be trademarked because trademark law requires human‑created, original design work, and AI outputs are not considered legally protectable.
Why AI‑generated logos can’t be trademarked:
Trademark law requires human authorship. AI tools (including ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, Canva’s AI, etc.) generate images without human creative control, so the output is not considered “authored.”
AI outputs are not legally “original.” AI models are trained on huge datasets, so the resulting images may resemble existing works. That makes them risky for trademark registration.
No exclusive rights. Because no one can claim authorship, no one can claim exclusive ownership — which is required for trademark protection.
Trademark offices are rejecting AI‑generated marks. This is already happening in multiple jurisdictions, including NZ, Australia, the UK, the EU, and the US.
Can my AI‑generated logo be trademarked if you adapt it?
If I rebuild and refine your logo with enough original creative input, the new version could become eligible for trademark protection.
To be trademark‑ready, the logo needs meaningful human design work – not just a tidy‑up. This usually includes redrawing the mark from scratch, refining shapes and proportions, adjusting typography, improving layout, and ensuring the final design is unique and distinctive. In short, it must look like a professionally designed logo, not an AI image that’s been lightly edited.
If you’d like your logo rebuilt to meet trademark standards, I offer this as an optional add‑on for $275 NZD, which includes a full professional redraw.
